Stores Programme

Pop into an Aldi Store, and you won’t see any dilly-dallying.

Our people know what needs to be done, and they just get on and do it. It’s simple really, but it does take lots of drive. With two career pathways available, we’ve got something for everyone. And if you combine hard work, ambition, and the ability to apply yourself to any challenge, you could make it all the way to Store Management.

Our Career Starter Programme is for applicants with no previous qualifications. The Level 2 Retailer Apprenticeship takes around 12-15 months to complete, and you will also complete Functional Skills at Level 2 alongside this.

Our Store Management Programme is for individuals who already have their GCSE Maths and English grade 4-9 (minimum grade C or equivalent). You will complete both Level 2 Retailer and Level 3 Retail Team Leader which takes up to 36 months to complete.

Warehouse Programme

Our Warehouse Career Starter Programme gives a rare insight into retail logistics. You’ll learn all about how our products get from our suppliers to our customers’ shopping baskets – it’s an incredibly fascinating process. With a structured career path too, you’ll be well on the way to becoming a success within our business.

Buying Programme

Get an incredible introduction to Buying with a leading international retailer – that’s us. With a wave of impressive sales figures behind us, we’re opening new Stores at lightning speed and to keep on top of that wave, our Buying teams have to do something pretty special to keep our customers coming back for more. If you’re considering a career in Buying, this would be the perfect first step.
