Providing legal services to internal and external clients, the chartered legal executive apprenticeship will equip you with the skills and experience to take client instructions; manage matters from inception to completion; communicate with clients; review, draft and produce legal documents; conduct and apply research; handle confidential and sensitive information; represent clients in informal and formal proceedings; and make decisions in legal matters based on legal principles or the rule of law, and within all legal and regulatory requirements. You’ll work well under pressure and have the ability to establish good working relationships with others, as you apply the rules of professional conduct at all times. The chartered legal executive apprenticeship can also link to the paralegal and solicitor apprenticeships.

Entry requirements for the chartered legal executive apprenticeship: Likely four GCSEs at grades at 4 to 9 (A to C) and three A-levels
Achievement upon completion: Level 6 (Higher)—equivalent to a bachelor’s degree
