A nail services technician offers a range of services for clients’ nails. In this role, you’ll work independently or as part of a team, supported by a salon or nail bar manager. You’ll demonstrate a willingness to learn, have an enquiring and curious mind, and be enthusiastic to learn about your chosen career. You’ll exhibit a good work ethic, and have the drive and commitment to learn and maintain continual professional development. During the nail services technician apprenticeship you’ll complete nail services on a one-to-one basis with individual clients within commercial timings. The role is fast-paced and customer-focused, providing a range of bespoke nail services, advice and product recommendations, while meeting legal, industry and organisational requirements and codes of practice. Your work environment can be varied in size, style and ambiance, from a cruise ship, through to small nail bars or stations, retail environments or luxury high-end beauty salons or spas.

Duration: 12 months

Entry requirements for the nail services technician apprenticeship: Depend on employer

Achievement upon completion: Level 2 (Intermediate)—equivalent to GCSEs

Potential salary upon completion: £18,000 per annum
