Assist financial advisers with researching, analysing and preparing financial reports for clients
As a paraplanner, you’ll assist the financial adviser in researching, analysing and preparing compliant financial reports for clients that verify the recommendations made in accordance with the company’s investment philosophy. The role is predominantly a back office, technical support role and it’s the financial adviser who is ultimately responsible for the advice given to the client, although some interaction with the client is likely. Your tasks will include checking compliance paperwork, compiling financial statements, completing application forms and carrying out research to identify appropriate solutions for clients. The paraplanner apprenticeship will also put you on the path toward more senior roles, such as senior paraplanner, in which you would deliver a higher level of technical and specialist support to the financial adviser, while also contributing more strategically to the business.
