Travel consultant apprenticeship

Make travel arrangements and book accommodation and other services

On a travel consultant apprenticeship, you’ll deliver a range of often complex travel arrangements, accommodation bookings and other services that help to ensure travellers benefit from journeys and time at their destination. Leisure travel consultants typically work on the high street. In this role, you’ll source and match customers to a variety of travel options within their budget, including tailor-made itineraries, package holidays, special interest holidays, weddings abroad, cruises and seasonal activity-based holidays. A key part of your role will be keeping ahead of the ever increasing demand from customers for new and different leisure experiences. Corporate travel consultants take care of the needs of business travellers, taking account of factors that may affect their trip, including location and times, business facilities and corporate budgets. You’ll need to appreciate that your customer must account for every single expense when travelling for business.
