Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx)

Apprenticeships in legal services are awarded by the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx).

There are no formal entry requirements to study CILEx qualifications and students are not required to collect UCAS points. On completion of an apprenticeship in legal services, students can go on to study further CILEx qualifications to become chartered legal executive lawyers.

Chartered legal executive lawyers are specialists in one or two areas of the law and can become partners in law firms, coroners, advocates and judges.

Students who enrol on an apprenticeship in legal services gain incredibly valuable work experience and they will earn as they learn.
