Insurance is an exciting industry that provides protection from the risks associated with, for example, sports cars and hurricanes, to the future needs of our society. The senior insurance professional apprenticeship will arm you with the necessary skills to act in a management capacity throughout the insurance industry, including operations, which largely focuses within the organisation, and clients, which will see you overseeing external matters involving customers. All management roles require a high level of technical knowledge and ability. The senior insurance professional apprenticeship will prepare you accordingly, meaning you’ll become an expert in specific insurance areas, such as broking, client management, underwriting, claims, operations, loss adjusting, reinsurance, risk management, insurance product and pricing, or complaint handling.

Entry requirements for the senior insurance professional apprenticeship: A-levels or equivalent qualifications
Achievement upon completion: Level 6 (Higher)—equivalent to a bachelor’s degree
Potential salary upon completion: £25,000 per annum
