The senior insurance professional apprenticeship will arm you with the necessary skills to act in a management capacity throughout the insurance industry, including operations, which largely focuses within the organisation, and clients, which will see you overseeing external matters involving customers. All management roles require a high level of technical knowledge and ability. The senior insurance professional apprenticeship will prepare you accordingly, meaning you’ll become an expert in specific insurance areas, such as broking, client management, underwriting, claims, operations, loss adjusting, reinsurance, risk management, product and pricing, or complaint handling. Upon completion, you’ll be able to apply for professional registration with the Chartered Insurance Institute or the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters.
Duration: 24 months
Relevant school subjects: Maths
Entry requirements: A-levels or equivalent qualifications
Achievement upon completion: Level 6 (Higher)—equivalent to a bachelor’s degree
Potential salary upon completion: £30,000 per annum
