The Growth Company Education & Skills is one of the largest providers of work-based learning for young people and adults. We have been providing high-quality education and skills to individuals and businesses for over 30 years, and as an Ofsted Grade 2: Good provider you can be assured the quality of our training and excellent support can help you achieve your future goals. We’ve supported thousands of young people who want to kick-start their careers, and adults who want to raise their skill level throughout their working life and achieve their full potential.

We are a not-for-profit company – this means we focus on getting better at what we do and invest all of our energy and resources into improving the quality of our training and your learning experience.

We offer a huge range of apprenticeships, traineeships and courses for people throughout their working lives. As well as practically based training, we also offer a wide range of classroom-based courses designed to cater for all levels and all ages. Our apprenticeships are designed with progression in mind so you can move on to advanced apprenticeships and higher apprenticeships and, in some occupations, on to higher education.

APPRENTICESHIPS

We have a wide range of apprenticeships on offer – from engineering to manufacturing to IT and digital. We’ve also recently added some exciting new apprenticeships including Bricklaying and Fenestration (glass-fitting) so sign up today!

Did you know? Over 90% of our apprentices progress into employment after their apprenticeship or go onto further study. We work with over 2,500 employers who are recruiting apprentices every year! 

GREATER MANCHESTER SKILLCENTRE

The Greater Manchester SkillCentre in Trafford Park, Greater Manchester, is a purpose built, state-of-the-art training facility, specifically built for training the next generation of apprentices and trainees. You will be supported by expert tutors, gain real life experience in a working environment and there is a free mini bus from many locations in Greater Manchester!

PRE-APPRENTICESHIP STUDY PROGRAMMES

If you’re not quite ready for an apprenticeship, a pre-apprenticeship is the ideal stepping stone. It’ll get you up-to-speed on the skills employers want to see and give you an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the area you want to work in.
