“Supporting the day-to-day running of a court or tribunal”
The court, tribunal and prosecution operations apprenticeship gives a broad understanding of the civil and criminal justice system. Court and tribunal administration will see you working in an administrative role within a court, tribunal or prosecution service. The court and tribunal operations pathway will see you in an operational role that supports the day-to-day running of the court or tribunal. As an apprentice, you’ll undertake a variety of administrative duties including extracting files, filing, data-input, drafting routine letters and photocopying documents. You could also have responsibility for managing casework to ensure that case files are up to date and that any missing evidence is gathered from the relevant parties, or for maintaining court records. At the advanced level, you may also have some management responsibilities, so the mandatory qualifications will enable the development and assessment of these skills.

Achievement upon completion: Level 2 (Intermediate)—equivalent to GCSEs; Level 3 (Advanced)—equivalent to A-levels
Potential salary upon completion: £21,000 per annum
