Tackling crime, taking knives off the streets, engaging with young people and being the person everyone looks towards for help. A police officer’s role is demanding and diverse – no two days are ever the same.

We’re looking for people who have the judgment to make quick decisions, are confident to be first person in, have the compassion and empathy to help those in need and who’ll have the resilience to serve the community every single day.

You will be provided with training and development as you begin your policing career and as it progresses; a meaningful career path that, from day one, will mean you are supported to be yourself and to be the best you can be. You’ll feel like part of a team, working together towards Surrey Police’s vision to fight crime and protect people, to earn the trust and confidence of our communities and to be there for everyone who needs us.
