Liberty Hunt is a second-year vehicles sales apprentice, working towards both nationally recognised qualifications and Jaguar Land Rover-specific certifications as part of the Jaguar Land Rover commercial apprenticeship programme
Liberty has the opportunity to work in a prestigious retailer environment while learning the skills she needs to be successful in her job role. This apprenticeship programme is second to none, giving Liberty and others like her the starting point to drive their career forward.
“I am now in the second year of my apprenticeship, which I started when I completed sixth form,” Liberty said. “I was looking at apprenticeships and wanted to be part of a well-known brand. My career choice is a little different to most of my friends, and it was a little intimidating working in a male-dominated environment, selling to mainly male customers; however, I do feel this is changing as the first Jaguar F-PACE I sold was to a female customer!”
“The apprenticeship programme has given me a great amount of confidence and I enjoy the fast pace of the sales environment. Sales targets have steadily increased and last month (February 2016) was my best month ever. The biggest lesson I have learnt is never to pre-judge anyone, as the most unlikely people often become your customers.”
