Apprenticeships to consider if your favourite subject is: science

The study of science helps our understanding of the world around us, from how trees reproduce to what an atom is made up of. Science may be a core subject in the curriculum and one of the fundamental parts of STEM, so if you want to help shape the future as a scientist, there are many career paths open to you.

If your favourite subject is science and you are thinking of pursuing it, there is a broad range of careers open to you. Science is the backdrop in careers such as teaching, healthcare professions, engineering, construction, food and drink manufacturing and laboratory research.

Within your apprenticeship you could develop skills in data, research, observation and prediction, as well as teamwork, communication and time management.

Our blog feature focuses on a selection of apprenticeships on offer that all have a focus on the subject of science.
