The study of science helps our understanding of the world around us, from how trees reproduce to what an atom is made up of. Science may be a core subject in the curriculum and one of the fundamental parts of STEM, so if you want to help shape the future as a scientist, there are many career paths open to you.
If your favourite subject is science and you are thinking of pursuing it, there is a broad range of careers open to you. Science is the backdrop in careers such as teaching, healthcare professions, engineering, construction, food and drink manufacturing and laboratory research.
