Provide administrative support to a financial organisation

The financial services administrator apprenticeship serves within the financial advice market, which provides businesses with technology, compliance, technical and consultancy support. You will provide general office administrative support, including filing, scanning and photocopying; post and franking; processing payments; answering the telephone; and note-taking. You may also maintain customer records through associated IT solutions. The financial services administrator apprenticeship provides an ideal entry point for a career in the financial services sector, with progression routes leading to a number of roles with full professional qualifications such as paraplanner and financial adviser. This apprenticeship provides the first step on the pathway to professional membership of the Chartered Insurance Institute, The London Institute of Banking & Finance, or the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment.

 

Duration: 12 months

Relevant school subjects: Maths

Entry requirements for the financial services administrator apprenticeship: Five GCSEs, including English and maths, or equivalent qualifications

Achievement upon completion: Level 3 (Advanced)—equivalent to A-levels

Potential salary upon completion: £25,000 per annum
