Hospitality accommodation team member apprenticeship

Help guests feel welcome and comfortable in hotels and accommodation venues

As a hospitality accommodation team member apprentice, you’ll play a key part in making sure guests enjoy a clean, safe, and pleasant stay. Whether working in a hotel, resort, cruise ship, or holiday park, you’ll be responsible for keeping guest rooms, communal areas, and facilities spotless and well-presented.

During your apprenticeship, you’ll learn how to clean and prepare rooms to high standards, manage laundry and linen, and restock amenities. You’ll also understand how to report maintenance issues and follow health and safety rules, especially when using cleaning products and equipment. Some roles may involve working front-of-house or helping with guest requests and room service.

You’ll be organised, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy, customer-focused environment. With experience, you could move into supervisory roles, such as head housekeeper, facilities supervisor, or front-of-house team leader.
