Offer and administer finance packages to customers buying vehicles
A motor finance specialist apprenticeship offers and administers finance packages in the shape of loans or leases to customers buying vehicles. You’ll be able to work at finance companies with intermediary retailers or brokers, or directly with consumers. Each apprenticeship role brings with it its own tasks. As a motor finance specialist at a finance company, you’ll manage the day-to-day queries, needs and requirements of both the intermediary and, in some cases, their customers, through receiving and reviewing finance applications, maintaining and developing relationships with intermediaries, and completing and processing documentation. As a retailer consultant, you’ll liaise directly with the end customer, so are likely to work on the sale of the vehicle subject to finance. Your role will also cover liaising with finance companies, smooth administration of processes and documentation, maintaining a customer focus, and proactively assisting with sales.
