Administer and manage financial, site and support services within schools
A school business professional administers and manages the financial, site and support services within any school phase (primary, secondary or special). During the school business professional apprenticeship, you will be equipped with the necessary skills and expertise to provide essential support to school leadership teams, implementing their financial and business decisions, while working in different school structures, including academy trusts and local authority maintained schools. Setting and colleague numbers can vary, but you will undertake a number of roles that shape your day-to-day activity, including budgeting and financial reporting, payroll, site management, identifying income generation opportunities and office management. This apprenticeship is designed to train apprentices for multiple roles, including school business manager, HR manager, finance manager and office manager.

Achievement upon completion: Level 4 (Higher)—equivalent to a foundation degree
