Manage housing or property related services
The senior housing and property management apprenticeship covers both the social and private housing sectors. As an apprentice, you’ll develop the skills and knowledge necessary to take responsibility for the management and delivery of services such as repairs and maintenance, allocations, lettings, rents, and care and housing support. You’ll be proactive in finding solutions to problems and identifying areas in need of improvement, while taking individual responsibility for quality and cost. On completion of this apprenticeship, you’ll be able to become a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing. You’ll also qualify for the professional diploma route to chartered membership. Other job titles include leasehold manger, assets manager and neighbourhood investment manager.
Duration: 18 months

Entry requirements for the senior housing and property management apprenticeship: Depend on employer, but likely A-levels or equivalent qualifications or relevant experience
Achievement upon completion: Level 4 (Higher)—equivalent to a foundation degree
Potential salary upon completion: £28,000 per annum
