Bolton’s Albert Halls throws open its doors for jobs and apprenticeships event

Based in Bolton and searching for apprenticeship opportunities? Bolton Albert Halls is hosting a jobs and apprenticeships event.

The historic town hall is set to be the venue of the busy jobs and apprenticeships event.

Visitors to the event can talk to more than 30 employers offering scores of local jobs and apprenticeships for young people and adults.

Regular job fairs, organised by Bolton Council’s digital employment skills (DES) team, have received glowing feedback from employers and job seekers who have attended previous events.

It is all free to attend and visitors are encouraged to bring their CVs with them, so they don’t miss out on their dream job or apprenticeship.

Bolton Council deputy leader councillor Akhtar Zaman, whose portfolio includes skills, development and regeneration, spoke about the event.

Akhtar Zaman said: “As a council, we are fully committed to supporting local businesses to find the right candidates and to helping our residents secure fulfilling employment.

“The last fair was a huge success in attracting hundreds of visitors, many of whom secured quality employment, apprenticeships and job training opportunities.

“It’s a great opportunity for young people, parents, carers, and anyone else looking for a career move, so please do drop in and talk directly with employers as it could boost your career options.”

The fair is taking place tomorrow from 2.30pm to 6.30pm. You can find out more at www.boltondes.org.uk.
