The Advanced Therapies Apprenticeship Community (ATAC) is hosting a series of events in February and March 2025 to give businesses and individuals a chance to explore apprenticeship opportunities.
Coordinated by Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult (CGT Catapult), ATAC develops apprenticeship programmes designed specifically to help businesses to train and upskill their workforce in developing, manufacturing and delivering innovative therapies at scale.
Taking place during National Apprenticeship Week (10 to 16 February 2025) and Scottish Apprenticeship Week (3 to 7 March 2025), ATAC hopes to recognise the achievements of apprentices across the country and highlight how apprenticeships benefit communities, businesses, and the economy by providing individuals with valuable skills and career opportunities.
Why bother with apprenticeships?
Apprenticeships offer a practical way to learn while earning, allowing individuals to gain hands-on experience in their chosen fields. Many businesses rely on apprenticeships to train employees and bring in new talent, helping them stay competitive and innovative. By supporting apprentices, companies can fill skill gaps and build a knowledgeable, committed workforce.
These national and regional celebrations bring together employers, training providers, and apprentices to share their experiences. They provide insight into the impact apprenticeships have on businesses and individuals, showing how they create career pathways and long-term success. Attendees can learn about different apprenticeship options, hear success stories, and connect with professionals who understand the benefits of apprenticeship training.
Who are the sessions for?
Aimed at employers, the sessions will feature discussions with apprentices, employers, and training providers, offering valuable firsthand knowledge. Whether you are a business looking to grow your team or an individual considering an apprenticeship, these events provide an excellent opportunity to learn more.
