British Academy of Jewellery invites employers to apprenticeship events

Learn more about these exciting apprenticeship events.

Are you an employer looking to engage with the next generation of talent? Training provider the British Academy of Jewellery (BAJ) is inviting employers to find out more about its programmes at two apprenticeship events.

The BAJ’s interactive apprenticeship events are being held in London and Birmingham this June.

Employers are invited to connect with jewellery industry businesses and share guidance on how and why to take on an apprentice.

The apprenticeship events will take place in London on 14 June and in Birmingham on 22 June.

Both events will run from 3pm to 5pm and BAJ staff will be on hand to help with completing job forms for recruitment support.

Miranda Sharpe, the BAJ’s apprenticeship coordinator and Birmingham centre lead, spoke about the opportunity the events provide.

She said: “Joining us at one of our apprenticeship employer events is a great opportunity for employers to have their questions answered regarding jewellery, silversmithing and allied trade professional apprenticeships.

Employers can meet the team, view the workshops and discover the benefits and practicalities of employing an apprentice.”
