The college has been shortlisted for a highly prestigious award.
Great news from Truro and Penwith College—the further education college and top training provider in hair, beauty, and hospitality has been shortlisted at the VTCT Excellence Awards.
The college, based in Cornwall, has been shortlisted alongside Cardiff and Vale, Milton Keynes, Rotherham and Suffolk College, with the winner set to be revealed at the awards ceremony in July.
It’s a great accolade for Truro and Penwith and recognises it as one of the best training providers in the UK for hair, beauty and hospitality.
Truro and Penwith has already been rated in the UK’s top 20 state colleges for sending students to Oxford and Cambridge universities.
VTCT, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary, is also one of the UK’s market-leading awarding and end-point assessment organisations. These awards are part of its 60th celebrations.
Commenting on the news, Jo Lello-Dunn, programme team leader of vocational and commercial studies at the college, said: “Everyone at the college is thrilled to have been shortlisted for this prestigious award and I’d like to congratulate all our staff for their continued work to go above and beyond to support our students and apprentices. We can’t wait to celebrate our success at the awards on 13 July.”
Congratulations on the achievement and good luck at the awards ceremony!
