Marc Mollins began his career journey with uncertainty after not achieving the academic results he had hoped for. Rather than letting this define his future, Marc chose to see it as an opportunity to start again.
He joined an apprenticeship with SEEMiS Group LLP, a decision that proved transformative. Early on, Marc faced challenges such as balancing work and study while developing new technical and professional skills. Through perseverance and a willingness to learn, he grew in confidence and capability.
Mentorship played a key role in his success. Supported by colleagues who recognised his potential, Marc gained the guidance and encouragement needed to progress in his career.
Today, Marc is a Technical Lead, Team Lead and Scrum Master across multiple projects at CGI. His journey from apprentice to leader demonstrates how dedication and the right support can turn potential into long-term success.
Marc now shares his experience with others, encouraging new apprentices to embrace opportunities and challenges. His advice: “Always say yes to every challenge, even if it scares you.”
