The 2019 edition of The Apprenticeship Guide will be available to read from early next month.
Featuring more than 400 apprenticeships from across England, this bumper edition of The Apprenticeship Guide boasts two new sections—Digital and ICT and Science and R&D—as well as a standardised format to make it easier to explore.
Published in partnership with the National Apprenticeship Service, The Apprenticeship Guide will be available in every school and college in England, to promote apprenticeships as an alternative to higher education and to guide young people through the choices available to them.
The new edition of the guide, sponsored by the RAF, features the ‘life stories’ of dozens of current and former apprentices from prominent companies, colleges, universities and other training providers, as well as tips and advice on everything from deciding on an apprenticeship to preparing for an interview.
Commenting on the publication of the thirteenth edition, its editor, Mark Dugdale, said: “Apprenticeships in England are undergoing significant change, as the government and businesses work to design a system that offers both better opportunities to young people and highly skilled employees for organisations across the country. Whether you’re in school and considering what you want to do after your GCSEs, or an employer in need of a partner to deliver your training programme, there is no better place to start your search than The Apprenticeship Guide, the definitive guide to apprenticeships, online and in print.”
