If you are interested in a career in hairdressing, barbering and beauty therapy, training provider Saks Apprenticeships have released their new learner figures for the last 12 months and they show that between September 2020 and September 2021 they have helped place 352 new apprentices in salons and barber shops across England and have a further 150 to enrol in the coming weeks.
This news follows the announcement that the UK Government have extended the Apprentice Employment Incentive until January 2022 meaning that an employer can receive up to £4000 for each new apprentice they employ, a fantastic incentive that will help many people back into the workforce.

“This is reflected in the huge numbers of salons across the country who have been able to offer an opportunity to apprentices, of any age, looking to start a hairdressing, barbering or beauty therapy career.
“Saks Apprenticeships will continue to help salons across the country to find and train new apprentices and offer those apprentices the support they need to succeed”.
