Intraining: Tom Lickness

17-year-old Tom Lickness from Newcastle is delivering the goods with a logistics specialist thanks to leading training provider Intraining

Tom was taken on as a sales apprentice with OSE European after Intraining helped secure an interview and prepare him for it.

“I was keen to look for an apprenticeship as I wanted to earn while I was learning and Intraining made it really easy for me to find the role with OSE,” said Tom.

Tom left school with good GCSE grades and began studying A-levels at sixth form college but didn’t feel the learning environment was helping him to progress as quickly as he would like.

He began working for a leading high-street clothing retailer but his ambitions lay away from fashion, so he turned to Intraining for help to plan his next career move.

“Intraining have been very supportive throughout my apprenticeship, from helping me to successfully apply the role to ensuring that I have settled in and built up the skills and qualifications I need to progress,” said Tom.

During his apprenticeship with OSE European, Tom has been working on taking and receiving calls, arranging the daily workload for drivers and collecting and maintaining data for the company.

“Intraining helped us to identify a fresh-minded and enthusiastic young man for our sales apprentice role as part of our ambitious plans to grow the business,” said Michael Clemmet, head of sales and marketing for OSE European.
