Now they’re looking for an IT Apprentice to join the team. No experience needed, just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
What you’ll be doing (with full support + training)
You’ll jump into lots of real IT tasks, including:
- Helping clients fix tech problems
- Logging issues into the system
- Adding and managing users in Active Directory
- Helping with Office 365 accounts
- Building, setting up and configuring PCs
- Learning about network and cybersecurity (firewalls, patching, WANs – all the cool behind the‑scenes stuff)
- Occasionally helping out on a weekend or evening when needed
It’s a hands‑on role that will help you build skills and confidence fast.
Who they’re looking for
Someone who is:
- Into IT (even if it’s just helping family fix their laptops)
- Keen to learn new things
- Friendly and able to chat with people
- Reliable and willing to try
- Learning to drive or already has a licence (bonus, not essential)
Working hours: 35 hours per week, 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday

Starting with insights into your current potential, they plan your growth in a programmatic way, close skills gaps with immersive training and ensure what you learn is applicable to what you do. They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.
On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 8.
