Use AI and automation tools to improve how organisations work
Working in digital, operations, technology or business improvement, you’ll help organisations use artificial intelligence and automation to make processes faster, simpler and more efficient. Artificial intelligence and automation practitioners can work across many industries, as most organisations now use digital systems to manage information, customers, services and day-to-day tasks. During the artificial intelligence and automation practitioner apprenticeship, you’ll learn how to identify tasks that could be improved, design practical digital solutions, test tools and support people to use them responsibly. In your day-to-day work, you may map business processes, review manual tasks, connect systems, build automated workflows, test AI outputs, check data quality, document changes and explain how new tools should be used. You’ll also need to understand the risks and limitations of AI, including data protection, bias, ethics, security and the impact technology can have on people at work. This role suits someone who enjoys problem solving, technology, business improvement and finding smarter ways to get things done.
