Supervise staff and activities within hospitality businesses
A hospitality supervisor provides vital support to management teams and is capable of independently supervising hospitality services and running shifts. During the hospitality supervisor apprenticeship, you’ll work under pressure to deliver fantastic customer service. Motivating a team is essential to your role. The majority of the skills and knowledge that you’ll develop over the course of this apprenticeship are the same, but you may specialise in specific functions or work across several. Those covered by this apprenticeship include food and beverage, bar, housekeeping, concierge, front office, events and hospitality outlet. As a housekeeping supervisor, for example, you’ll maintain the presentation of establishments by coordinating the work of cleaners, laundry services and room attendants.

Entry requirements for the hospitality supervisor apprenticeship: Experience in an operational role within the industry
Achievement upon completion: Level 3 (Advanced)—equivalent to A-levels
Potential salary upon completion: £23,000 per annum
