Handle day-to-day queries and provide HR advice ranging from recruitment through to retirement
HR professionals employed in a support capacity will usually work as part of the HR function, delivering front-line support to managers at medium and large organisations, or as a manager at a small organisation. During the HR support apprenticeship your work will include handling day-to-day queries and providing advice; working on processes, ranging from transactional to relatively complex, from recruitment through to retirement; keeping records; providing information to the business; and planning and implementing changes. You’ll typically provide advice to managers on a range of issues using company policies and current law, giving guidance that is compliant and where errors could expose your organisation to employment tribunals or other types of legal risk.
