Research projects to generate data and insight
Market research enables organisations to understand their customers, develop new products, identify business growth opportunities, understand society and even address social concerns such as smoking, addiction, poverty and inequality. During the market research executive apprenticeship, you’ll work on projects to generate data and insight, by collecting, analysing and interpreting information collected from participants. You’ll work alongside internal teams such as research, sales, marketing, IT, finance, HR and operations, as well as interacting externally with members of the public, clients, the media and research participants. You’ll be accountable to a line manager within the team, with no staff management or budgetary responsibilities. The role will mainly be office based, however you may need to attend research group discussions, interviews or agency meetings.
