Deliver a variety of facilities management operational services across multiple sites
Facilities management practitioners work in the private, public or third sector and at all sizes of organisation. In this role, you’ll be accountable for the delivery of a variety of integrated operational services, such as cleaning and catering, across multiple sites or a portfolio of property assets and services, nationally or regionally. You’ll set strategy and budgets, oversee the financial and operational performance of the function, manage client relationships, build the client base, grow the business, and develop the organisational capability of the workforce. You may be employed in-house by a specialist company or this function may be outsourced and you may provide facilities management services in any industry sector. On completion of the head of facilities management apprenticeship, you’ll achieve a level 6 extended diploma in facilities management and a bachelor’s degree.

Entry requirements for the head of facilities management apprenticeship: A-levels or equivalent qualifications or relevant experience
Achievement upon completion: Level 6 (Degree)—equivalent to a bachelor’s degree
Potential salary upon completion: £40,000 per annum
