Business-to-business sales is multi-faceted. It involves leading on long-term, complex propositions, such as multiple pricing options or dealing with procurement specialists. Using insights, critical thinking and commercial judgement, you’ll work to deliver commercial benefit to a number of customers or a complex, high-value account. Commercially astute, you’ll strategically and financially manage customer accounts, lead cross-functional teams through the sales process and deliver winning solutions and customer satisfaction. You’ll understand the needs of customers and develop strong stakeholder relationships, while demonstrating strong, ethical practice. Sales professionals operate in organisations of all sizes and across multiple industry sectors. This apprenticeship covers different areas of sales. On completion, you’ll achieve a bachelor’s degree in business-to-business sales.


Duration: 36 months

Relevant school subjects: Business studies

Entry requirements: A-levels or existing relevant level 3 qualifications, and English, maths and ICT at level 2. Relevant or prior experience may also be considered

Achievement upon completion: Level 6 (Degree)—equivalent to a bachelor’s degree

Potential salary upon completion: £18,000 per annum
