This year’s National Apprenticeship Week is taking place from 6-12th February 2023—employers should take notice
The theme of this year’s National Apprenticeship Week is ‘Skills for Life’; reflecting on how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career and for employers to develop a workforce with future-ready skills.
The 16th annual week-long celebration of apprenticeships, taking place across England, will showcase the positive impact apprenticeships can have on communities, local businesses, and regional economies and how they all benefit from the impact of apprenticeships.
As an employer of apprentices, National Apprenticeship Week is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate and promote your apprenticeships across England, helping your company gain a regional and national profile.
You can highlight the benefits of apprenticeships and the connected skills they offer, showcasing progression opportunities available, any exciting new occupational standards associated with your industry and lots more.
We already know that apprenticeships are the future of business success, helping to build careers, supporting job creation and economic growth.
Now is the perfect time to share your knowledge and opportunities available to students, parents and schools.
Use the week to your advantage and highlight the many successes that your apprenticeships programme has, demonstrating how apprenticeships are contributing towards the wider government agenda, and to facilitate a coordinated national celebration of apprenticeships across the education, skills, and business sectors.
If you are an employer interested in taking on apprentices, see below our guide to some of the events taking place in February:
