Lifetime Training earns 'Good' rating from Ofsted

Lifetime Training has been awarded a ‘Good’ rating by Ofsted.

The UK’s largest provider of skills development programmes said in a press release, “We’ve invested heavily in technology and learner support systems, and it’s paying off!”

Lifetime is currently delivering apprenticeships and training to over 20,000 learners across numerous sectors including hospitality, retail, and early years childcare.

An impressive 92% of learners believe their chosen programme will help them achieve their career goals, and 87% express satisfaction with their learning experience. This positive feedback underscores the effectiveness of Lifetime’s approach to education and training.

Inclusive learning environment

Inclusivity stands at the heart of Lifetime’s mission. The Ofsted report commended the organisation’s dedication to supporting learners with additional educational needs and disabilities. Upgraded support systems, a new learner management platform, and enhanced teaching methods also contribute to a more engaging and effective learning experience for all.

Leadership and continuous improvement

Under new leadership, Lifetime has made significant strides in curriculum design and overall learning experience. These improvements have been pivotal in securing the ‘Good’ rating and reflect the organisation’s ongoing efforts to remain at the forefront of skills development in the UK.

Collaboration: the key to success

Collaboration is the driving force behind Lifetime’s success. The organisation fosters strong partnerships with employers, educational institutions, and industry bodies, drawing on their expertise to ensure programmes equip learners with the necessary skills to excel in today’s dynamic workplaces.

Susan Beasley from HC-One, a long-standing employer partner, remarked, “We are proud of our long-standing partnership with Lifetime. This report and grading underpin our experience and are well deserved.

“Lifetime’s commitment to learner development and curriculum design has been instrumental in our long-term partnership and the measurable impact on our colleagues and wider business.”

Shaping futures together

Paul Thompson, director of people and learning at Coach Core Foundation, added, “The positive report from Ofsted truly reflects our experiences of working with Lifetime. Their unwavering commitment to supporting young adults who face barriers has been instrumental in achieving life-changing outcomes.
