Holly is determined to develop a career with ecommerce giant Amazon.
A Henley College student has secured a degree apprenticeship with Amazon.
Holly Gardner, from Reading, will start her apprenticeship with the ecommerce giant in September.
The degree apprenticeship, in project management, will enable her to work towards a BA or BSc honours degree while she carries out the role at Amazon.
The apprenticeship revolves around delivering projects and taking on responsibility for their completion.
Suitable for someone who identifies as a problem solver, it requires planning, organisation, leadership, management and communication skills.
To be in with a chance of landing this apprenticeship, you’ll need five GCSEs or equivalent, including maths and English at grade C/4 or above, as well as two A-levels or equivalent.
The apprenticeship will take 48 months to complete but successful apprentices could be rewarded with a potential salary of around £35,000 per annum upon completion.
Speaking about her future, Holly mentioned her goals. She said: “My ambition for the future is to continue a good career through Amazon, as it’s a company I have always dreamed about working for. Alongside this, I’d love to one day own my own business as it’s always been a goal I wanted to achieve.”
Applications for the apprenticeship are closed, but you can keep an eye on Amazon’s project management apprenticeship page.
