Four journalism apprenticeships!
Multimedia company National World is recruiting for four journalism apprenticeships, but you better hurry, because applications close on 22 May—that’s Monday!
Following NationalWorld.com’s launch in March 2021, the company recruited three apprentices for 18-month apprenticeships.
All three apprentices now hold full-time roles within National World and have a diploma in journalism to boot.
After the fantastic success of this first round, there is now an opportunity for four apprentices to start in September 2023, to complete an 18-month programme.
The apprentice journalists will learn on the job, produce hundreds of bylines, and come out of it with a professional qualification.
This time, the apprenticeships are tailored to specific areas of focus, with opportunities in news and explainers, data, life and features, and culture.
Susanna Sealy, who joined as an apprentice and is now a trainee sportswriter for National World, said: “By doing my apprenticeship with National World, I’ve been able to dive straight into the world of journalism.”
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, apply via National World’s website. And good luck!
