Each month, we highlight a new apprenticeship on offer and dive into why it could be the top choice for you. Today, we enter the digital world and look at the digital user experience professional level 6 degree apprenticeship.
As a digital user experience (UX) professional, you’ll investigate, analyse and design the experience that people have with digital products and services, both current and emerging, in order to find ways that these interactions can be improved over time.
You could find work in the fields of design and technology across every sector, including digital and creative; retail and sales; public service; health innovation; manufacturing; and finance and professional services.
In your daily work, you’ll interact with internal and external parties, including stakeholders, customers and team members to ensure the effective implementation of UX solutions.
Your work will be mainly office-based and you will be responsible for leading the application of user-centred designs, tools and techniques across the full lifecycle of the digital product, from research and development, through to its continuous improvement, and even product retirement.
You’ll need to be passionate about creating effective, efficient, delightful and innovative solutions that enhance user experience, with a strong work ethic to meet the standards required. Keeping up with the latest UX trends, tools and techniques for your ongoing development, you’ll be confident in communicating your skills and knowledge to others.
