Babcock apprentice Chloe initially joined Elior in one of its prestigious museum venues, as a part-time team member in the busy waterfront café
As one of the UK’s leading contract caterers, Elior manages all types of hospitality for customers across the UK. Within a few short weeks of joining the team, Chloe realised she loved the buzz of the busy café, and also wanted to get involved in some of the exciting events and functions that Elior deliver. From the moment she enrolled on her hospitality apprenticeship, her career started to soar and she is now a full-time Elior team leader at just 21!
Chloe’s apprenticeship gave her all the confidence she needed to excel. She thoroughly enjoyed learning about how to deliver outstanding customer service, together with the standards and legislative responsibilities of running a restaurant and events team. As her knowledge developed, Chloe’s capabilities also improved and very quickly she was practising everything she had learnt.
Her customer service skills are outstanding, adapting her approach to suit the needs and the situation of each customer. Whether she is helping a young family, a group of visitors with learning disabilities or a corporate events customer, Chloe has the skills and confidence to meet their needs.
Chloe is now completing a level 3 apprenticeship, and there is no doubt that her apprenticeships have been the platform for her success. Knowing Chloe, she will already be thinking about her next steps and is well on her way to becoming an Elior manager.
