RAF: Morag

Morag, an air and ground steward, is a natural fit for the RAF

“I joined the Royal Air Force in 2015 after studying hotel and hospitality at a local college; I come from a military family so joining the RAF was a natural course of action for me.”

“After the excitement of initial training, I moved to Worthy Down to complete my professional training. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the Catering Training Squadron and much to my delight I was awarded both the 2016 RAF Trainee and Apprentice of the Year accolades for my efforts. My first posting was to RAF Waddington where I have been catering for officers’ dinners, royal visits, and summer and Christmas balls.”

“While based at RAF Waddington I entered the Golden Service Scholarship competition, which is a competition for my trade, and I feel proud to have reached the regional semi-finals.”
