Zoe Hudson has taken her first steps to becoming a qualified optician thanks to leading national training provider Positive Outcomes
18-year-old Zoe has taken her first steps to becoming a qualified optician thanks to leading national training provider Positive Outcomes, with whom she has been working towards a customer service award.
“I’ve enjoyed learning in detail about some of Specsavers’ internal systems and the way the company operates,” said Zoe, who is currently working on the shop floor. “Learning how to deal professionally with the wide variety of customers who come here is particularly interesting.”
Zoe’s training advisor Melissa said: “Zoe started the course last summer and over the past year I have worked with her to help her achieve all of the various sections of her training.”
“Zoe was promoted earlier this year and now works on the appointment desk working face-to-face with customers. She has expressed a desire to go on to complete a dispensing optician’s course in the future and eventually become an optician.”
