Provide advice, training and support on core technology applications
Working within an IT team, during the applications support lead apprenticeship you’ll provide tactical advice, training and support on core technology applications, both hardware and software, to enable the delivery of application-based products and services for your business customers. You’ll work on any upgrades and implement new technologies, helping to build and support the creation of remote working environments and different working platforms. You will be responsible for your own workload and will be expected to problem solve and prioritise your workload. You’ll be a good communicator, able to deliver a ‘first-line fix’ service to colleagues and clients.
Duration: 24 months
Relevant school subjects: ICT
Entry requirements for the applications support lead apprenticeship: Depend on employer, but likely GCSEs or equivalent qualifications or relevant experience
Achievement upon completion: Level 4 (Higher)—equivalent to a foundation degree and above
Potential salary upon completion: £30,000 per annum
