Abattoir worker: Through strictly controlled handling, you’ll manage animals before and during the slaughtering process. The duration is 16 months and you’ll achieve a level 2 apprenticeship upon completion.
Baker: You’ll develop an in-depth knowledge of bakery techniques, making and selling goods such as bread, cakes, pies, pastries and biscuits. The duration is 18 months and you’ll achieve a level 2 apprenticeship upon completion.
Brewer: As a brewer you’ll make beer, either at specific stages of production or in its entirety, from ingredients intake to final packaging. The duration is 18 months and you’ll achieve a level 4 apprenticeship upon completion.
Butcher: As a successful butcher you’ll be able to produce the most cuts to make every carcass profitable. The duration is 18 months and you’ll achieve a level 2 apprenticeship upon completion.
Chef de partie: You’ll manage a small team and run a specific section of a professional kitchen, such as sauces, pastries or fish. The duration is 18 months and you’ll achieve a level 3 apprenticeship upon completion.
Dietitian: Working for the NHS, in hospitals and in the community, you’ll assess, diagnose and monitor the impact of special treatment plans. The duration is 48 months and you’ll achieve a level 6 degree apprenticeship upon completion.
Food and drink engineer: You’ll maintain, manage and install a diverse range of specialist equipment and technology used in the manufacture of food and drink products. The duration is 36 months and you’ll achieve a level 5 apprenticeship upon completion.
Food technologist: Passionate about the food industry, you’ll ensure food and drink products are of the right quality and safe to eat and drink. The duration is 24 months and you’ll achieve a level 3 apprenticeship upon completion.
Maritime caterer: Working on board ships and vessels, you’ll prepare, cook and bake various dishes for passengers and crew. The duration is 24 months and you’ll achieve a level 2 apprenticeship upon completion.
