Chartered landscape professional apprenticeship

Lead the design, creation, maintenance or management of space in both a natural and built environment

During the chartered landscape professional apprenticeship, you’ll help enhance, protect and create natural and built environments, providing innovative, well-designed and well-managed outdoor places for people to enjoy. You’ll have a good appreciation of the natural world as you build relationships with people and communities, including volunteers, team members, the public and other professionals. You could find yourself working across multiple sectors and scales, from planning on a national scale to smaller designs for homeowners. You’ll need to abide by the Landscape Institute’s Code of Conduct and ethical standards as you consider the long-term wellbeing of communities, public health and availability of finance. The optional pathways you can choose to follow are landscape design, landscape and parks management, or landscape planning.

Duration: 60 months

Entry requirements for the chartered landscape professional apprenticeship: Depend on employer, but likely A-levels or equivalent qualifications or experience

Achievement upon completion: Level 7 (Higher)—equivalent to a master’s degree

Potential salary upon completion: £32,000
