Found in multiple industries, as during the Digital accessibility specialist apprenticeship you’ll provide advice and technical support to ensure an inclusive user experience for people with disabilities and those in need of assistive technology. You’ll test digital content to ensure that it complies with accessibility standards and guidelines. In your daily work, you’ll interact with a range of professionals and communicate with assistive technology providers to troubleshoot current products and help develop future services. You’ll mainly be desk-based, however you may need to travel to client sites, conferences, workshops and seminars. Within this role you’ll need to be a good team player, committed to solving problems, keen to learn and ready to rise to new challenges.
Duration: 24 months

Entry requirements for the digital accessibility specialist apprenticeship: Depend on employer, but likely A-levels or equivalent qualifications or experience.
Achievement upon completion: Level 4 (Higher)—equivalent to a foundation degree
Potential salary upon completion: £28,000
