Shape and deliver high-quality digital learning activities. 

Digital learning designers are experts in adult learning and have specialist skills in educational technologies. They design and develop a range of products and initiatives, such as online courses, interactive multimedia, and virtual simulations, to address a wide range of educational and business needs. During this apprenticeship you’ll dive deep into digital education, learning more about what makes a digital learning service or product more effective. Since digital learning designers often work with a range of people to make sure their digital learning products are delivered on time, you’ll also get a solid grounding in communication skills and project management. Digital learning design skills are relevant in formal education settings like universities, public sector organisations like the NHS or the government, and for private training providers. 

Duration: 24 months 

Relevant school subjects: ICT, English 

Entry requirements for digital learning designer apprenticeship: Depends on employer, but likely A-levels or equivalent qualifications or relevant experience 

Achievement upon completion: Level 5 (Higher)—equivalent to a foundation degree

Potential salary upon completion: £28,000
