Environmental practitioner apprenticeship

Provide a high level of professional environmental expertise

Once confined to conservation, waste management and pollution prevention, the environmental practitioner role has become more mainstream, entering into many areas of the business world. During your environmental practitioner apprenticeship you’ll develop into a practitioner capable of giving your employer a high level of professional environmental expertise, while providing a robust overview of key issues and relevant policies, regulations and legislation. You’ll likely develop within environmental policy and legislation, air quality, climate change, energy, water resources, waste management, ecology, acoustics, land contamination, sustainability, or landscape or heritage. You’ll grow into an environmental practitioner who is able to manage the provision of innovative solutions that maintain, enhance and minimise environmental impacts, such as designing coastal or flood defences.
