Provide HR expertise within a company or organisation
In this role, which is interchangeably referred to as a consultant or business partner, you’ll use your expertise to provide and lead the delivery of HR solutions to business challenges, together with tailored advice to the business in a number of areas, typically to mid-level and senior managers. This HR consultant apprenticeship will prepare you for a general version of this role, where you’ll provide support across a range of areas, or a specialist version, where you’ll focus on and have in-depth expertise in a specific area, such as resourcing, total reward, organisation development, or operations. Whichever of these specialisms you choose, you’ll gain a good grounding across the whole range of HR disciplines. During the HR consultant apprenticeship, you’ll learn how to influence managers to change their thinking and bring best practice into the organisation, and link the work that you do to the priorities of the business.
