Sell services such as data storage and cloud services for a company

Over the course of the IT technical salesperson apprenticeship, you’ll develop a good knowledge and understanding of the portfolio of technologies that are available from your employer. You’ll work to maintain good relationships with existing clients, gaining repeat business wherever possible from customers both internal and external, in the UK or internationally. You’ll also approach potential customers with the aim of winning new business. Integral to this role is maintaining a thorough understanding of existing technologies and those that are emerging, so that you’re equipped with the knowhow to market and sell them to your employer’s customers. The IT technical salesperson apprenticeship is recognised for entry on to the register of IT technicians and those completing their apprenticeships are eligible to apply for registration.

 

Duration: 12 months

Relevant school subjects: ICT

Entry requirements for the IT technical salesperson apprenticeship: GCSEs, A-levels, a level 2 apprenticeship or other relevant qualifications or relevant experience

Achievement upon completion: Level 3 (Advanced)—equivalent to A-levels

Potential salary upon completion: £25,000 per annum
