A low carbon heating technician apprentice focuses on zero carbon central heating and hot water systems. Your job will involve planning, installing, and maintaining these systems in buildings like homes and businesses, using eco-friendly heat sources like heat pumps and solar collectors. Your ICT skills will come in handy as you will be managing mechanical and electrical systems daily. You’ll need to be good with people as you’ll interact with customers daily, providing great service – all while handling heavy equipment! Whether you’re working independently or as part of a team, you’ll collaborate closely with managers, colleagues, and other tradespeople. Be prepared for physical work, including lifting heavy items and working in tight spaces.
